Your OwlWatt dashboard is ready. Data will start flowing within 60-90 seconds.
☀ Producing now ?How much power your solar panels are generating right now, measured in watts.
—
watts
🌤️ Weather
—
—
—
🏡 Consuming Now ?How much power your home is pulling right now across every appliance and device, measured in watts.
—
watts
Home consumption isn’t measured live for this system.
⚡ Grid ?Green = you're saving or making money, using less electricity than your solar is producing. Red = you're spending or losing money, using more electricity than your solar is producing. Gray = neutral, you're using and producing the same amount of electricity.
—
—
Sun trajectory ?The sun's path across your sky today, calculated from your ZIP code. Shows where the sun is right now, solar noon, and how much daylight is left.
Sun altitude ?How high above the horizon the sun is right now. Higher altitude means more direct light on your panels.
—
—
Remaining sun ?How much daylight is left before sunset at your location.
—
Day progress ?How far through today's solar window you are, where sunrise is 0% and sunset is 100%.
—
Solar noon ?The moment the sun crosses its highest point today. Production peaks close to this time, within about an hour on a clear day.
—
Savings today ?Estimated money saved today by using solar power instead of buying from the grid.
—
Savings month ?Estimated money saved so far this month by using solar instead of buying from the grid.
—
Grid today ?Estimated cost of the electricity you've pulled from the grid so far today.
—
Est. grid bill ?Rough projection of your grid electricity cost for the full month, based on your usage pattern and current rates.
—
—
Grid dep. ?What percentage of your total electricity usage comes from the grid vs your solar panels.
—
of use from grid
History ?Your production, consumption, and grid flow over time. Switch between today, the last 7 days, or the last 30 days to spot trends.
ProductionConsumptionGrid
midnightnow
Today ?Total energy your solar panels have produced today, measured in kilowatt-hours.
—
kWh
Month ?Total energy your solar panels have produced so far this month, in kilowatt-hours.
—
kWh
Month consumption ?Total energy your home has used this month, solar + grid combined, in kilowatt-hours.
—

⚡ Your usage pattern ?Your hourly electricity use baseline, built from the last 14 days. Red bars flag hours where today is running noticeably above your normal baseline.
Baseline avgToday (normal)Today (anomaly)
Shows your hourly electricity consumption baseline, built from the last 14 days. Red bars indicate hours where today's usage is significantly above your baseline, which is often a sign to check your HVAC, water heater, or appliances.
ⓘ Your baseline is still building. This view becomes accurate after ~14 days of monitoring.
⚡ Microinverters ?A live view of each panel on your roof. Colors show relative output so you can spot a weak or offline panel at a glance.
■ ≥60%
■ 15 to 60%
■ <15%
■ 0W
■ stale
Per-panel snapshots update every 15 to 25 minutes (your gateway polls each inverter via powerline in batches). Data up to 30 minutes old is normal, and at night the inverters sleep. This view is diagnostic. It shows which panels are strong or weak relative to each other. Your total production and savings are calculated from high-frequency meter readings (every 5 seconds) and are not affected by the per-panel reporting cadence. A panel consistently >45 minutes stale during daylight may need attention.
Panel-level data: available for Enphase microinverter systems.
▸NOT REPORTING (0)
Waiting for first inverter scan…
Per-panel data refreshes every 15 to 25 minutes once your collector is online.
⚙ Power Optimizers? Each optimizer's identity and reporting status, grouped by the inverter it connects to.
■ reporting
■ not reporting
SolarEdge does not publish per-panel power or energy through any API documented for third-party or site-owner access, at any service tier. Your own SolarEdge phone app does show per-panel energy, and it is worth a look if you want to spot a single weak or shaded panel. What the API does give us, and what is shown here: each optimizer's position, the inverter it connects to, its model, and whether it is currently reporting. Your total production is calculated at the system and inverter level instead (see the Production section above) from meter-grade readings, unaffected by this limit.
Waiting for first optimizer inventory scan…
☀️ Solar performance ?A month-by-month look at how much of your home's electricity came from solar versus the grid, using the bills you've uploaded. Includes your best month and estimated total savings.
Analyzing your bill history…
📊
Upload at least one utility bill to see your solar performance breakdown.
Monthly solar vs grid
Solar
Grid import
Best month ?The month where solar covered the highest percentage of your electricity needs.
—
—
Est. savings ?Approximate total savings compared to what your electricity would cost without solar, based on your usage patterns and your configured import rate (MA default rate until you set yours in Settings). This is a rough estimate.
—
estimated total
Net producer months ?Months where your solar panels produced more energy than your home consumed from the grid.
—
—
Summer vs Winter ?Average monthly grid import during summer (Jun-Aug) compared to winter (Dec-Feb). Lower is better. It means solar is covering more of your needs.

⚠ Confirm a few contract conditions so your report reflects them
📈 System health ?Shows whether your equipment is performing as well as the weather allows. This is a health diagnostic. It is NOT your contractual claim. See the guarantee claim card above for what your installer may owe you.
How is your equipment performing given the weather it received? We model what a clean system
of your size should produce in the actual weather, then compare against your real output.
This ratio is a health indicator. It does not determine your contractual claim amount.
Pulls up to 12 months of history from your monitoring system so the analysis has a longer baseline.
Modeling expected production…
📉
We need your system specs (capacity, location) and at least some production
data to run a weather-adjusted performance analysis.
Performance ratio
?Actual production divided by weather-adjusted expected production. Above 0.90 is excellent, 0.80 to 0.90 is normal, and below 0.80 may indicate an issue.
Monthly: actual vs expected
Actual
Expected
Actual ?Your system's real measured production over the period being analyzed, totaled in kilowatt-hours.
—
kWh
Expected ?Modeled estimate of what your system should produce given its specs, location, and the pvlib Ineichen clear-sky irradiance model. This is a theoretical maximum (assumes no clouds), so it is a conservative baseline.
—
kWh
Weather gap ?The difference between weather-adjusted expected and actual production. A health indicator only. See the Guarantee Claim card for your contractual shortfall.
—
kWh gap (diagnostic)
Days analyzed ?How many days of production data this performance analysis is based on. More days = a more reliable verdict.

💧 Panel cleanliness ?Detects if dust, pollen, or grime on your panels is dragging down production. Compares current output to your clean-panel baseline and estimates the kWh you're losing.
Analyzing panel cleanliness…
💧
We need at least 21 days of production data plus your system specs to
detect soiling patterns.

Confidence: --%
Current PR ?Your performance ratio right now, which is the fraction of the theoretical clean-panel maximum your system is delivering. 1.0 = perfect.
--
Baseline PR ?Your performance ratio at the start of this analysis window, modeled against expected production and adjusted for measured tree-canopy shading. A moderate or heavy soiling level is only shown when rain-recovery or year-over-year evidence confirms the decline against this baseline is not just the normal seasonal pattern.
--
PR decline ?How far your current performance ratio has dropped below your clean-panel baseline. Larger numbers mean more soiling.

If your install spans multiple roof planes (e.g. front & back of the house, or house & garage), add each as its own plane. Don't have this handy? Your installer's contract or system-design paperwork lists azimuth, tilt, panel count, and panel wattage per plane, and once we have enough production history we may be able to suggest values for you to confirm or correct, instead of starting from a blank form. When we cannot suggest values for your system, the reason appears under the list of planes.

System specifications
The minimum for accurate performance tracking. Until you enter yours, we assume a typical US residential array (south-facing, owned system). Override if yours differs.
If you're using the Solar planes card above, the azimuth / tilt / panel-count here are legacy single-plane fallbacks only. New customers should fill in planes above instead.
